WINTERTIME POT ROAST 
1 (4 to 5 lb.) chuck roast
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope onion soup mix

Salt and pepper roast. Place on large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil in open roasting pan. Sprinkle with onion soup mix. Cover with undiluted cream of mushroom soup. Bring up foil loosely over roast and seal all edges. Bake in 350 degree oven 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Will have lots of good gravy for serving with rice or noodles. Serves 6.
