RICH CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 c. (12 oz.) real semi-chocolate chips, divided
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips over hot, not boiling water. Set aside to cool. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. In large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs. Blend.

Gradually add flour mixture to chocolate mixture. Stir until smooth. Stir in remaining chocolate chips and pecans. Spread into a buttered 8 inch square baking pan. Bake in a preheated (350 degree) oven for 30-35 minutes. Let cool. Dust with powdered sugar.
