SANTA'S WHISKERS COOKIES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. chopped red candied cherries
1/3 c. chopped green candied cherries
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2/3 c. shredded coconut

1. In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla until light and fluffy.

2. Add flour, beat well, stir in cherries and nuts. Divide into 2 rolls 8 x 2 inches.

3. Roll each log in 1/3 cup coconut covering completely.

4. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate until firm - at least two hours - overnight is better.

5. Cut in 1/4 inch slices and bake at 375 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet.
