FRENCH SALAD DRESSING 
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt or powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 c. Crisco oil
1 c. catsup

Mix above ingredients in order listed in a large jar or container (a large Skippy jar is perfect) - leaves enough room to shake ingredients thoroughly. Store covered in refrigerator. Shake well before serving.
