TUNA CHEESE IMPERIAL 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
1/2 c. butter
5 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt, optional
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 can tuna in water, drained
1/4 c. pimento olives
2 tbsp. chives
1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced Muenster cheese
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs

Cook noodles according to directions and drain. Melt 5 tablespoons butter in medium saucepan. Stir in flour, salt and pepper and cook stirring constantly until bubbling. Stir in milk and continue to cook and stir until sauce thickens and comes to a boil. Boil one minute. Slice cream cheese into the sauce and stir until it melts. Add tuna, olive and chives.

Remove from heat. Pour 3/4 of sauce into buttered baking dish. Then layer half of the noodles, half of the remaining sauce and 2 slices of cheese. Repeat, ending with cheese. Melt 3 tablespoons butter and toss in bread crumbs. Sprinkle over mixture. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
