GRANDMA'S QUICK RICE PUDDING 
3 c. cooked rice
3 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Raisins (optional)

Mix all ingredients except for vanilla in saucepan. Heat over medium low heat, stirring until thick consistency. Add vanilla and raisins. Serve either warm or cooled.
