BUTTERMILK SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. orange jello
1 (16 oz.) pineapple (crushed)
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. pecans (chopped)

Mix jello with pineapple. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Mix Cool Whip with buttermilk in a bowl and fold in the pineapple mixture. Add the nuts. Pour into pan or salad mold. Chill.
