HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 c. green beans, drained
1 can condensed tomato soup
5 med. potatoes, cooked
1/2 c. warm milk
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. shredded American cheese

In skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender. Add salt and pepper. Add drained beans and soup; pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Mash potatoes while hot; add milk and egg. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon in mounds over casserole. Sprinkle potatoes with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
