SOUTHERN MILK GRAVY | |
1 lb. spicy loose pork sausage 1/2 c. flour 3-4 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper Put pork in pan and fry; break into bite-size pieces; about 8 minutes. Remove from heat and drain on paper, keeping about 6 tablespoons of grease. Put grease back on high heat and add flour, salt and pepper. Stir until golden brown, then add milk, stirring until thick, then add drained sausage. Serve hot over biscuits. |
