SOUR CREAM RAISIN BARS | |
2 c. raisins 1 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 3/4 c. oatmeal 1 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 4 egg yolks 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch Pinch salt 2 c. cultured sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla Boil raisins in 1/2 cup water until liquid is absorbed. Cool. Combine oatmeal, butter, flour, brown sugar, soda and salt. Reserve 1 1/2 cups. Press into 9"x13" pan. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Mix egg yolks, sugar, sour cream and cornstarch in double boiler, cook until thick. Add raisins and vanilla. Place on crust. Put reserved crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Keep refrigerated or freeze. |
