1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 3/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder or 1 tsp. baking soda with sour milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. milk

Cream shortening, add sugar and yolks, beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder and cinnamon and add with milk. Mix well. Fold in beaten egg whites. Use a 9x13 inch pan greased and floured. Bake 40 minutes, 350 degrees. Frost as desired.
