SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
2 eggs
1 med. onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Scant 1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
1 c. bread crumbs

Mix thoroughly. Form mixture into small balls. Melt 1/2 cup fat into fry pan. Brown balls in fat. Remove balls from pan. To fat in pan, add 2 cups boiling water. Pour over meatballs and cook in 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes. Remove pan from oven and meatballs from sauce in pan.

Make paste of 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 cup water, add to sauce and thicken. Add 2 cans undiluted cream of mushroom soup. Put balls back in, stir to coat. Cook 35-40 minutes longer.
