FRENCH BARS 
BOTTOM LAYER:

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts

1/2 c. melted butter
5 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour into bowl and mix together. Put in buttered 9 x 13 inch pan.

MIDDLE LAYER:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter

1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
3 tbsp. water

Mix very well. Smooth over top of bottom layer in pan. Chill 15 minutes.

TOP LAYER:

1 (16 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Spread on top. Keep in refrigerator. Very rich bars.
