CREAM CHEESE SQUARES 
1 stick butter plus 2 tbsp.
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add flour and nuts. Mix well. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remainder of mixture in bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

FILLING:

2 (8 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. lemon juice

Beat sugar and softened cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, milk, vanilla and lemon juice. Beat well. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle crumbs over top. Return to oven. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Chill before cutting into squares.
