BEEFY JALAPENO CORNBREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. bacon drippings
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 can cream style corn
1 (8 oz.) grated cheddar cheese
4 jalapeno peppers
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger, sauteed & drained

Mix cornbread and add corn, cheese and onion. Place 1 tablespoon cornmeal in hot iron skillet. Add half cornbread mix then hamburger and top with other half cornbread mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
