2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
1/2 c. cocoa
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Dissolve soda in boiling water. Cool. Mix remaining ingredients as you would any cake. Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
