CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS AND
FROSTING
 
1 pkg. fudge cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
5 tsp. butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Grease and flour 9x13 inch pan. In large bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Stir by hand until well mixed. Pour into pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.

For frosting, in small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over bars. Makes 3 dozen.
