NOODLES & CABBAGE 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
4 c. chopped or sliced cabbage
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. caraway seed, optional
8 oz. egg noodles
1/2 c. sour cream, optional

Melt butter in large skillet. Add onion, saute until soft. Add cabbage, saute 5 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper, caraway seed. Cook noodles in salted boiling water. Drain well. Stir noodles into cabbage. Add sour cream if desired. Cook 5 minutes longer, stirring frequently. Serves 6-8.
