APPLE DUMPLINGS 
Roll out a ball of pie crust dough into a 12-14 inch circle and cut into quarters. Place a peeled and cored 1/2 apple on each quarter. Sprinkle with sugar and put a dot of butter on each apple. Bring dough up around apple and pinch shut.

Moisten with a little water on fingers while pinching shut so it will stick. Bake at 375-400 degrees for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. To serve, place dumplings in dessert bowl and sprinkle with sugar and pour on milk. Mix together and enjoy!
