TEXAS CORN BREAD 
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. baking powder

Grease 8" square pan well. Mix all dry ingredients, then add milk, buttermilk, egg and oil last. Bake at 375 to 400 degrees until brown.
