HEALTHY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. unbleached flour
1/3 c. wheat bran
2/3 c. oat bran or quick cooking oats
30 oz. chocolate chips
2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Mix dry ingredients together then gradually add to the creamed butter/sugar mixture 1 cup at a time. Mixing until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Makes about 10 dozen 3 inch cookies. Bake at 350 degrees for 6-7 minutes.

Cookie dough may be frozen and used as needed.
