SHREDDED WHEAT TUNA BOATS | |
4 shredded wheat biscuits 4 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk 1 (6 oz.) can tuna, drained 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. onion powder 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese Set oven at 350 degrees. Dip biscuits in water. Drain immediately and place on greased baking sheet. Melt 2 tablespoons butter; add Worcestershire sauce; stir. Brush tops of biscuits with mixture. Bake 10 minutes. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter, add flour, gradually add milk, and cook (stirring constantly) until sauce is smooth and thick. Add tuna to sauce; add seasoning. Stir; spoon creamed tuna on top of shredded wheat biscuits. Sprinkle grated cheese over top of each. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes. |
