RYE BREAD DIP | |
2 pumpernickel rounds, unsliced FILLING: 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1 1/3 c. sour cream 2 tsp. dill weed 1-2 tbsp. dried onion powder or 1 onion 2 tbsp. parsley flakes 2 pkgs. Budwig's sliced, smoked beef, chopped fine Mix dip ingredients. Scoop out center of 1 pumpernickel round to create a bowl for the dip. Cut up other round into pieces for dipping. Serve with pumpernickel bowl in center of large platter surrounded by bread for dipping. May serve various vegetables for dipping also. Do not fill bread bowl with dip until ready to serve. Serves a large group. |
