CREME DE MENTHE SQUARES 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
16 oz. can Hershey syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. creme de menthe
1 c. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Mix together in order given (sugar, 1/2 cup butter, eggs, flour, salt, Hershey syrup and vanilla). Bake in a greased 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Let cool.

Mix together powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter and 3 tablespoons creme de menthe. Frost chocolate layer. Refrigerate until set (20 minutes in freezer works well).

Melt together chocolate chips and 6 tablespoons butter. Cool, but not until it sets. Spread on top. Cut into 1 inch squares before the chocolate hardens.
