HERRING SALAD 
1 c. cooked herring, flaked
1 c. potatoes, cubed
1/4 c. hard cooked egg whites, chopped
1/4 c. French dressing
1/4 c. heavy cream
2 tbsp. pimiento puree
1/4 c. mayonnaise
Lettuce

Mix herring, potatoes and egg. Add French dressing. Chill 1 hour. Stir in cream, beaten until stiff and mix with pimiento puree and mayonnaise. Serve on lettuce.
