SIMPLE SALISBURY STEAK 
1 lb. ground chuck
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms

In bowl mix together meat, 1/4 cup of the soup, bread crumbs, egg and onions. Shape firmly into 6 patties. Saute in skillet over medium-high heat until browned on both sides. Remove patties and spoon off fat. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms and return patties to skillet. Reduce heat and simmer until done. (Preparation Time: 10 minutes; Cooking Time: 30 minutes.) Serve with steamed green beans.
