SAUSAGE BREAD | |
1 loaf frozen white bread dough (thawed) 1 lb. bulk Italian sausage (fried, drained) 2 lg. bell peppers, thick sliced (fried, drained) 2 lg. onions, thick sliced (fried, drained) 1 sm. jar roasted red peppers Place dough in a greased bowl. Lightly coat with oil; cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight. Next day roll out the dough on a floured board into a rectangle 12x18 inch. Arrange a row of each vegetable and the sausage down the length of the bread dough. Roll up, starting at the long length of the dough. Transfer to a greased pan or oven liner. Brush with an egg yolk mixed with a little water. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Bake in a 350 degree oven 45 minutes - 1 hour, or until golden. |
