| SODA CRACKER CANDY | |

Salt free soda crackers 1 c. real butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts Lay foil on a large size cookie sheet, making an edge around pan. Pour 1 tbsp. vegetable oil on foil and spread evenly. Flour lightly and evenly. Cover with 1 layer of soda crackers (salt free). Bring to boil in pan: 1 c. brown sugar Boil 2 minutes. Pour over soda crackers. Spread even with back of a spoon. Bake 350 degrees 5 minutes. Take out of oven and spread 1 (12 oz.) package of chocolate chips over top. Let sit 3-4 minutes. Smooth out chocolate after melted. Sprinkle nuts on top immediately. IMPORTANT! Refrigerate several hours right away or it won't break up. Break in pieces. | |
