MARINATED VEGETABLES 
1 red onion
1 fresh broccoli
1 fresh cauliflower
1 cucumber
1 green pepper
2 tsp. poppy seed
1 tbsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/3 c. vegetable oil

Cut onion, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber and green pepper into bite-size portions. Mix poppy seed, salt, sugar, vinegar and oil. Pour liquid mixture over vegetables and marinate overnight.
