POT ROAST | |
1 (3 to 5 lb) English Roast 2 can Golden Mushroom Soup 4 or 5 potatoes, medium size 8 carrots 1 large onion salt and pepper Aluminum Foil Wash roast and place in center of foil. Salt and pepper, and slice onion on top of roast. Wrap foil loosely around roast and place in a roaster pan, large enough to hold everything. Cook until will done in oven, at 450°F. When well done, remove foil. Spread 2 cans of Golden Mushroom Soup over the roast, rinse the cans with water, pouring this around the roast. Peel potatoes and cut in half, place then around the roast. Peel carrots and place around roast. Return to oven and cook until potatoes and carrots are done. |
