BAKED PORK CHOPS 
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. milk
6 pork chops
Bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Shortening
1/4 c. water

Combine egg and milk; dip chops into mixture. Roll in bread crumbs; season with salt and pepper. Brown chops in shortening for 5 minutes on each side. Place meat in shallow pan; add water. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
