TANGY COOKED SALAD DRESSING 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. water
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. prepared mustard
1/2 c. mayonnaise
Celery seed

Combine first six ingredients; boil until thick, cool. Add remaining ingredients, with celery seed to taste.

Especially good on cole slaw and macaroni salads for a different flavor. Keeps in refrigerator for later use.
