TACO SALAD 
1 lb. ground beef
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
1 tsp. salt
1 med. onion, chopped
1 bag tortilla chips
1 head lettuce, chopped
4 oz. Longhorn cheese, grated
1 avocado, chopped
1 (8 oz.) bottle French or Thousand Island dressing

Brown hamburger, drain. In skillet, mix together hamburger, drained kidney beans and salt. Simmer 10 minutes. Cool.

In bowl, mix onion, tomatoes and lettuce. Add meat mix, cheese and avocado. Toss together with salad dressing. Crush tortilla chips and toss into salad.
