FROZEN STRAWBERRY YOGURT | |
2 c. strawberries, sliced 1 c. plain low-fat yogurt 1 tbsp. superfine sugar In blender or food processor, puree the strawberries. In bowl combine the fruit, yogurt and sugar. Pour this into a 2 quart freeze container, cover and freezer until mixture becomes slightly thickened, about 30 minutes. Remove container from freezer and stir mixture vigorously to break up ice crystals. Cover and return to freezer. Repeat, stirring procedure every 15-20 minutes until mixture resembles soft sherbet. If mixture hardens, it can be softened by putting in food processor. Serve immediately or freeze for future use. Note - Makes 4 servings that are 70 calories each. |
