TWENTY - FOUR HOUR SALAD, A
HOLIDAY MUST
 
1 med. head lettuce, shredded
1 c. green onions & tops, sliced thin
1 c. celery, sliced thin
2 (10 oz.) box green peas
2 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepepr
1 c. Mozzarella, Cheddar cheese or other favorite
Parmesan cheese

Thaw peas (do not cook). In a 9 x 13 inch dish, layer first four ingredients in order listd. Combine mayonnaise and seasonings and spread evenly over salad. Top with grated cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan. Cover tightly with foil. Chill in refrigerator for 24 hours before serving.
