HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
1 med. green pepper
1 tsp. salt
Grated cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salad oil
1 clove galric
1 c. tomato sauce
1 can asparagus tips (drained)
1 pie crust

Saute onion, peppers and garlic in oil. Add beef. Cook over low heat until redness is gone. Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Transfer to casserole dish. Spread asparagus across top of meat. Add a thick layer of grated cheese. Top with pastry strips. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until brown.
