SIX FLAVOR CAKE 
2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. rum extract
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. coconut extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. butter flavoring

Cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar and mix until all grains are dissolved. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Combine flavoring and fold in.

Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees, testing after an hour. It may take an additional 15 minute to bake.

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. rum extract
1 tsp. coconut extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. butter flavoring

Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add flavorings and allow to cool. Pour over warm cake.
