TURKEY-VEGETABLE SOUP | |
2 c. cooked turkey, diced into bite-sized pieces 2 med.-sized onions, diced 1 tbsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ground sage 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 lg. celery stalks, diced 2 lg. carrots, diced 2/3 c. sm. shell macaroni 1. In 5 quart Dutch oven add all except macaroni, and add 8 cups water. Over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce to low; cover and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Bring liquid remaining in Dutch oven to boil; add macaroni. Reduce heat to medium, cook 10 minutes longer or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 main-dish servings. |
