TRADE WINDS SALAD 
2 c. cooked macaroni
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. cubed ham
15 1/2 oz. pineapple chunks (reserve 2 tbsp. of juice)
1 c. cubed American cheese
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 sm. onion, minced (optional)
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
8 oz. sour cream or pineapple yogurt
1/2 tsp. salt

Cook, rinse and drain macaroni. In skillet, melt butter, brown sugar. Add ham and cook and stir until golden brown.

In large bowl, combine macaroni, ham, pineapple, cheese, pepper and onions. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, reserved pineapple juice and salt. Add to macaroni mixture. Chill thoroughly. 8 servings.
