1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
3 to 4 tbsp. Heinz 57 sauce
1 tsp. salt
Pepper

Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Shape into loaf, put in shallow baking pan 8 x 4 x 1 1/2 inches deep. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Makes 6 servings.
