BROILED TOMATO WITH GREEN BEANS 
3 lg. ripe tomatoes
1 pkg. frozen French cut green beans
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp. butter

SAUCE:

1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 c. grated sharp cheese

Cut tomatoes into 2 slices each. Season and broil. Cook beans according to directions on package. Saute garlic in butter for 5 minutes. Remove garlic and pour butter over the cooked beans, tossing lightly.

To make sauce: Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour and salt. Add milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add cheese and stir until blended. Pile cooked beans on broiled tomato slices; spoon sauce on top and serve.
