1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, separated
1 c. whipping cream
1 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 qt. fresh or frozen strawberries
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Cream butter. Add sugar and beat well. Beat egg yolks and add to creamed mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Have berries thawed to proper temperature to mix well. Crush berries and add to mixture. Add whipped cream and chopped nuts to mixture. Place 1 1/4 cups wafer crumbs in bottom of 2 ice cube trays. Pour in mixture. Top with remaining crumbs. Freeze. Yield: 12 servings.
