GOLDEN POTATO CASSEROLE 
6 medium potatoes
2 cups (1 pt.) dairy sour cream
1 (10 oz.) pkg. mild cheddar cheese, shredded
1 bunch green onions, chopped
3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/3 cup bread crumbs

Cook scrubbed potatoes in salted water until tender. Cool, pare and grate with course grater. Add sour cream, cheese, onion, milk, salt and pepper. Mix well. Turn into buttered 9x13-inch pan, smooth top. Sprinkle over top with melted butter and bread crumbs. Bake at 300°F for 50 minutes or until piping hot. Cut into squares to serve.
