STEAK BASTING SAUCE 
3/4 c. olive oil
3/4 c. dry red wine
1 tbsp. lime juice
1 garlic clove, mashed
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Combine ingredients and beat or shake until well blended. Spread liberally over steak while cooking, both before and after turning.
