GINGER COOKIES 
1 c. molasses
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. baking soda
1/2 c. hot milk
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
Flour (enough to make a stiff dough)

Melt molasses and shortening. Add sugar and salt. Dissolve baking soda in milk and add the rest of the ingredients. Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
