RICH HOT ROLLS
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
4 1/4 to 4 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 eggs

Scald milk; add butter, sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water. Add 1 1/2 cups flour to milk mixture. Beat well with electric mixer at low speed for 1 minute. Beat in eggs and yeast. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead until smooth and satiny and until no longer sticky (5 to 8 minutes).

Place in greased bowl; let rise until doubled. Punch down and divide into 2 balls. Roll each ball out in a circle and cut into pie shapes to make crescents. Brush tops with melted butter; let rise 30 to 45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 30 rolls.
