RICH REFRIGERATOR ROLLS | |
8 c. all-purpose flour 3 pkgs. dry yeast 3/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 sticks butter 4 eggs In large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt, mix well. In saucepan heat water and butter until warm, butter does not need to melt. Add to flour mixture. Add eggs. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. At low speed gradually stir in remaining flour, should make a soft dough. Cover with plastic wrap and foil - refrigerate 6 to 12 hours, overnight. Put on floured waxed paper and knead about 3 to 5 minutes - separate into 3 parts - roll out. Cut into shapes for rolls, put in greased pan. Let set at room temperature 1 hour or until double in size. Bake in oven at 400 degrees until brown. |
