SWEDISH APPLE PIE 
Cut 4 to 5 peeled apples into chunks. Place in pie plate and sprinkle a mixture of 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

BATTER:

1 1/2 sticks butters
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Spoon mixture over apples. Add more nuts (if preferred). Pat mixture on apples. Put cold water on hands to pat down. Bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
