C.'S GERMAN APPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. salad oil
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. chopped apple, fine
1 c. nuts

Beat eggs and oil until foamy, add sugar, sift all dry ingredients together (flour, cinnamon, soda, salt) add apples and nuts. Bake in 9x13 inch pan, greased at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.

FROSTING:

3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 tsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Blend together and frost cake.
