GINGERBREAD DELIGHT 
1/2 c. butter
2 lg. eggs
2/3 c. molasses
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/3 c. milk
1 1/4 c. grated apple
2 tbsp. sugar

In large bowl, cream together butter, eggs and molasses. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture, alternately with milk. Stir in grated apple. Pour mixture into a greased and floured 9" square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan; remove and cool on rack. Top with whipped cream.
